What is HangTeam.com?
It is designed to be the best and easier way to organize and play a team sport.
The idea is to make organize and playing in a team as easy as possible. Our goal
is to work with enthusiastic players and dynamic sports associations around the
world to make this happen.

What happens when I add a sport in my profile?
If you decide to connect or share with others and are interested in being found
for a game then the sports you play will be shared with others. If you decide not
to share information or connect with other players than this information will just
be viewable by you.
What happens when I add ratings to a sport in my profile?
If you decide to share with others and are interested in being found for a game
then the sports ratings you play will be shared with others. If you decide not to
share information with other players than this information will just be for your
personal information.
Why is your postal code a required field?
Postal code is required in order to determine you time zone and help you find players
and games geographically close to you. Your postal code will always be kept personal.
How can I add a new sport or variation of any existing sport?
Please email us with any new sport (along with the standard positions in the sport)
and we will do our best to post the new sport as soon as we can. You can email us
by clicking on: www.HangTeam.com/contact_us.
What does it mean when you "Connect" or "Share" with another member?
This is a list of all the players that have requested a connection and sharing information
with you. The three options for you are the following:
- Ignore. The player inviting you will not be added to your address book and none
of your profile information will be provided to the inviting player
- Connect. The inviting player will be added to your address book, but none of your
specific profile information will be passed to the inviting player
- Connect and Share. The inviting player will be added to your address book with sports
ranking and exclusions.
In no situation will person sensitive information be shared with others (i.e. email,
telephone number, SMS, or specific address information).
What are exclusions?
Exclusions are the times and dates you are not available to play any game.
What is a series?
A series is a list of games that a team plays together. The series may be a one-time
game or may span games over several months. Individual games within a series may
be customized as required with changes to the player roster, times, location, or
other specifics in the setup of a series.
How do you build your team?
The organizer determines the approach for building the team within the Setup screen
or first page of the game creation page. Currently there is one way to build a team:
- Just get them out! This allows any player of a certain sex to play any position.
How do you invite players for your team?
The organizer determines the approach for inviting players within the Setup screen
or first page of the game creation page. Currently there is one way to invite players
to a game:
- All the players can be invited to a game and those that respond and accept first
are accepted up to the maximum number of players for the team for that game. For
example, in a game that requires five guys and has ten guys on the roster, all ten
will be invited and only the first five to respond that they will make it will be
accepted.
How are player positions determined?
The organizer determines the approach for the positions of the players within the
Setup screen or first page of the Game Creation page. Currently players are manually
placed by the organizer.
How do you change the time, date, or location of a game within a series of games?
Go to My Games. Click on the game to change. Edit the time, date, or location of
the game.
